Kalyn, we’re happy to promote quality sites and bloggers.

I like the idea of being engaged/linking out as being vital to success. It makes perfect sense, considering how active the community is. In particular, you being sensitive to new/struggling bloggers is fantastic. Was this something that was handed down from someone helping you out?

Well I’m certainly honored to be included on this list! Thanks for including my blog.

I guess one trait I’d consider essential for a good food blog is generously linking out to other blogs, especially newer blogs who can use a boost. I try to do whatever I can to promote other blog, and I think it’s creates good blogging karma for my own blog too.
