I literally have bee YELLING at people I know who are artists who will not blog and they will not interact with their fan base. It makes absolutely NO sense to me. They are really hurting themselves and even future fans who crave for that interaction.

Those few artists who do interact makes it easy for some of us who are sincere in spreading the word. Those who do not interact with their fan base which are primarily the musicians who are trying to make it will have to deal with whatever negative criticism they may get. Though it is impossible to respond to every thank you, etc., at least if a blog is written thanking their fans makes it easier to deal with the interaction. Thanks again!
